What is the difference between a scrub and a peel?

A scrub removes dead skin cells mechanically using small exfoliating particles, while a peel uses acids to chemically dissolve the bonds between skin cells. Peels provide deeper exfoliation than scrubs.

How often should I exfoliate my skin?
