Lysholm Linie

Golden colour. Pronounced aromas of caraway, citrus, spices and anise. Full-bodied and intense aquavit with warming alcohol and long finish. Serve neat and at room temperature with foods like traditional Norwegian dishes and Christmas dishes, or in cocktails like Trident Cocktail, Swedish 60, Complement Cocktail and Fjellbekk. The aquavit crossed the equator twice while maturing in casks as deck cargo. This has to do with staying faithful to its traditional recipe, in order to call it a linie aquavit. Changes in temperature and movements on board a ship have given a complex and tasteful character.
