Burberry

Burberry Group is a British luxury fashion house that produces sunglasses, clothing, perfume, and fashion accessories. It all started in 1856 by Thomas Burberry. The brand's invention of 'gabardine', a fabric that was impregnated so that it was waterproof before being braided, made the store very popular. They began to equip the royal family as well as the British military with their outerwear. Another famous fan was Norwegian explorer Roald Amundsen, who chose the brand's clothes for his expedition to the South Pole. Today, the luxury brand is best known for its distinctive tartan pattern in red, black, white and beige that was first used for lining in the iconic trench coat.
