Estèe Lauder was her own marketer and built her company with passion, knowledge and large amounts of free samples. Re-Nutriv was the brand's first luxury cream and it was made by Estèe Lauder herself. In addition, Estèe Lauder was the first to release a serum - the well-known Night Repair which came in 1982. As the skin repairs best at night, the serum was launched as a night serum. Estee Lauder companies have raised more than NOK 300 million for breast cancer research through their global Breast Cancer Awareness.
