Rum

Rum originally comes from the Caribbean. This type of spirit is made predominantly from sugar cane, and is available in different varieties such as clear/white, golden and dark. After distillation, it has a clear colour, however, after maturation in barrels or if food colouring is added, the rum becomes darker. There are also different rums with additional flavourings such as raspberry, lemon and mango. Rum can be used for drinks such as rum & cola, mojito and strawberry daiquiri and many many more.
