In 1954, medical student Jacques Courtin-Clarins developed his first product. It was a massage oil with essential oils and slimming properties. This oil was developed to increase the effectiveness of skin-up tightening massage, and with it the French-owned family company Clarins was founded. Today we are present in Oslo, Bergen, Stavanger and Trondheim.
