Join us in celebrating World Ocean Day on 8 June

World Ocean Day is an international day that takes place every year on the 8th of June. The day is marked to raise awareness about the ocean and what it means if we do not take care of it. The ocean is the heart and lungs of our beautiful blue planet, and no matter where you live, you are connected to the ocean. When the ocean is in trouble, it means we are too.

To mark World Ocean Day on 8 June, we are joining forces with Biotherm to shine a spotlight on the ocean. Through its Water Lovers programme, Biotherm aims to raise awareness of the ocean and the importance of preserving it, both through its own initiatives and in partnership with voluntary organisations. Biotherm therefore creates products that care for both the skin and the marine environment.

Biotherm's Water Lover programme raises awareness about the ocean

Since 2012, Biotherm's Water Lovers programme has been working to raise awareness of ocean conservation through its own initiatives and partnerships with world-class voluntary organisations. Biotherm is dedicated to Blue Beauty: beauty that comes from water and gives back to water. Biotherm wants to offer products that care for the skin while caring for the planet and especially the ocean. From renewable ingredients to environmentally friendly ingredients and packaging, to the end of the product life cycle: the Blue Beauty strategy encompasses all aspects of Biotherm's value chain to minimise its environmental footprint on water and aquatic ecosystems. Read more about all the good work Biotherm is doing for the ocean here.
