Barents Aquavit

Medium straw-yellow colour. Medium intense aromas of caraway, anise, citrus and fennel. Medium-bodied and medium intense aquavit with warming alcohol and long finish. Serve neat and at room temperature with foods like fish and shellfish dishes. What makes this aquavit unique, is that it contains common scurvy weed, that has been harvested at Svalbard’s Adventfjorden. The flowering plant is rich on vitamin C; an essential contribution for season hunters that stayed the whole winter on Svalbard. By giving it this special touch, the aquavit can for sure be called Svalbard’s aquavit. Hence its name; Barents Aquavit.
