Egge Gård Kong Christian IV Akevitt

Medium golden colour. Pronounced aromas of caraway, citrus and cask. Slightly sweet, medium-bodied and intense aquavit with soft alcohol. Serve neat and at room temperature as avec, and with traditional Norwegian dishes and Christmas dishes, or in cocktails like Fjellbekk and Nordic Snapper. The aquavit takes its name after King Christian IV, king of Denmark-Norway from 1588 to 1648. Besides being the owner of the Egge estate, he was also the longest serving king on the Danish-Norwegian crown.
