Since its creation, Biotherm has been committed to Blue Beauty and defends a holistic vision of beauty: taking care of your skin by taking care of the planet and its blue lung, the Ocean. Blue Beauty is a call to action, a desire to do better for our planet by using its resources responsibly and sustainably. Biotherm strengthened its commitment launching a campaign in favor of sustainable development and the circular economy: Live by Blue Beauty. The objective: to minimize the impact of Biotherm on aquatic ecosystems, to commit to a better future for the ocean. Because Biotherm is a brand that owes everything to water. The program takes care of oceans
A pioneer in ocean conservation, our program startedwith the first beach cleanings and with the support of Mission Blue via its Hope Spots. In 2017 we started supporting the research missions of Tara Ocean Foundation and in 2019 Surfrider Europe. Since 2012 we devolved more than 1.3 Million € to our partners NGOs and our Teams collected tons of plastic from the rivers and beaches around the world. From renewable ingredients to eco-friendly ingredients and packaging, to the end of the product life cycle: The Blue Beauty strategy encompasses all aspects of Biotherm's value chain to minimize the environmental footprint of water and aquatic ecosystems.
WATERLOVER SUN MILK: THE EXCELLENCE IN TERMS OF SUSTAINABILITY
Made of 100% recycled plastic bottle and with a 97% biodegradable formula, the Waterlover Sun Milk is the most responsible product that is respectful of aquatic life. Its commitment has been certified by the “Nordic Swan Ecolabel”, an international and independent certification that recognizes the most environmentally sustainable products. With the Waterlover Sunmilk, Biotherm continues to invest on sustainability to reach the promising 2030 objective to have all the products 100% eco-designed.
